Psychiatric Emergencies

For situations where there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, please call 911 or check the Psychiatric Emergencies section below.

While De Anza provides psychological services for registered students, it may sometimes be easier to get an appointment with an outside service. Additionally, some clinics may provide more specialized services such as assessment, medication management, or long-term therapy.

Enrolled students can receive up to 10 free sessions per academic year. Services include brief individual therapy, support groups, crisis intervention, and referral resources. Sessions are available via Zoom and in person.

ADHD Assessment and Treatment

Provides assessment (adult and child), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, child therapy, medication management, coaching, educational therapy, and adolescent therapy, testing accommodations

Bay Area Community Counseling

Provide therapy services for adults and children, including ADHD assessment, individual treatment, couples/family therapy, and work/school functioning. Sliding fee scale available.


Diablo Assessments Inc

Flexible scheduling with appointments available within two weeks. No referral is needed, schedule any time. Accommodations for college students are available. A licensed psychologist will provide a report within a week of exam.

Evaluation is $599. Credit cards are accepted. Insurance is not necessary; it is a self-pay service.


Behavioral Health Services, Santa Clara County

The Behavioral Health Call Center (Self-Referral Line) is the entry point for access to all Santa Clara County behavioral health services for those with Medi-Cal. Call the number below to get started.

Silicon Valley Safe Parking (Amigos de Guadalupe)

This is a network of faith-based communities who give their parking lots as safe spaces to park your vehicle overnight. Anyone is welcome to apply regardless of age, social or citizenship status, ethnicity or race, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental health status, or physical ability.

New guests must have the following to be eligible:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • An operable vehicle
  • Current vehicle registration
  • Valid insurance

Funds may be available to help with the cost of registration/insurance.

De Anza College will assist with student referrals to the Bill Wilson Center, especially when students are receiving Medi-Cal or homeless. Students who may also benefit from Bill Wilson Center services may be low-income, uninsured or underinsured. (Even if you fall into one of these categories, you must still go through an interview process to determine eligibility.)
