Summer Bridge is an engaging and intensive three-day program that's designed for a diverse community of college students – especially first-generation or low-income students and those attending college for the first time. Join us if you'd like to
- Gain valuable information and connect with caring faculty members, staff and peer mentors representing many programs and resources – before classes begin.
- Hear from inspiring speakers, share cultural activities and learn how to thrive at De Anza!
- Build community with other students and learn how you can support each other through your first year of college
Who is Eligible?
If you're a first-time, first-year student who has applied to De Anza for fall 2024, then you're eligible to attend Summer Bridge!
- If you're in the first generation of your family to attend college – or if you're looking for extra support and resources to navigate the college experience – you will especially benefit from this program.
- You may be required to attend Summer Bridge if you plan to enroll in one of these Learning Communities: First Year Experience (FYE), IMPACT AAPI, Pride, Puente or Umoja.
Summer Bridge Details
The 2024 Summer Bridge Program will be held on Monday-Wednesday, Aug. 26-28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the De Anza College campus.
