Quick Notes for the Week of Oct. 27
New Name for Mental Health Support Service
No Changes to Eligibility or Coverage
De Anza offers free, 24/7 mental health support to all students through a partnership with Uwill. Previously, this service was known as tbh, which was acquired by Uwill.
Although the name of the service has changed, students will not face any gaps in service or changes in eligibility. Students can continue to directly access mental health and wellness support.
With Uwill, students will be covered with the same, or enhanced, 24/7 care options they have been receiving – on weekends, school breaks and before, during or after school.
Uwill’s enhanced support will include:
- Immediate access to a licensed therapist trained in dealing with crisises, based on student needs and preferences
- Therapy available through video, phone, chat and message modalities
- Support that can be accessed anywhere globally
- Therapists with same-day availability
- On-demand same-day availability
You can sign up at app.uwill.com/sso/fhda. More resources are also available through the Mental Health and Wellness Center.
