Solar Energy Systems
Course Description
This course explores the use of solar energy to supply heat and electricity to buildings. Specific topics include the basics of solar radiation and geometry, the thermal and electrical energy requirements, the amount of available solar energy, and the sizing of solar domestic hot water (DHW) and photovoltaic (PV) systems.
