Accreditation
Espinosa-Pieb informed the team that Reaffirmation of Accreditation Letter was received on January 26, 2018 and can be found at http://www.deanza.edu/accreditation/
Senior staff, in collaboration with Academic Senate, Deans, SLO Core-team and Online Education developed a plan addressing compliance requirements to meet Accreditation Standards.
Pape notified the group that SLO Core-team would be adding an additional signature for the curriculum process to ensure that each Learning Outcome is assessed once every five years.
To ensure that every course syllabus includes Student Learning Outcome, the instructional deans will be requesting faculty to re-submit the course syllabus if they do not have SLO statement listed.
Espinosa-Pieb noted that the Canvas software gives us the ability to verify online classroom interaction. Ranck is working on the report.
