    Continue Discussion of Equity Requests

    Lorrie Ranck answered the committee’s questions from the last meeting. (see notes from 11/21/17)

    The members unanimously voted in favor of not funding Equity Office for speakers, faculty coordinators and food purchase at this time; put on hold and revisit in winter.


    Faculty Ranking Guidelines for Ranking Positions

    IPB Team was advised to use a “Faculty Ranking Sheet” that she shared with the committee via email and link: http://www.deanza.edu/gov/IPBT/facultyhiring.html which would take them to the following documents to use in faculty ranking:

    1. Hiring Data/Ranking Sheet - Espinosa-Pieb reminded everyone not to do any resorting or reorganizing of the data sheet for ease of vote counting.
    2. Written Justifications.
    3. Program Review Data Sheet - http://deanza.edu/ir/program-review.16-17.html

    Instructions for Submitting Faculty Hiring Ranking:

    Do a "Save As" for the Ranking Sheet and replace the document name as follows:

    Example: lastnameranking18-19

    Deadline for submission is - Saturday, December 2nd at 5:00 PM

    Please rank all "23" positions above with "1" being the highest and "23" the lowest.

    Chancellor’s staff will determine the number hired at a later date.
