Video Project Delivery

Due Date: Wednesday, December 6

In order to receive full credit for the video project you will need to deliver the video and the material for the video description box. Different people in your group should be in charge of each part of the video project delivery. There are four parts to your video: the video itself, the video description text, the poems, and the credits.

Video

On the due date you should copy the video to the classroom desktop computer. Be prepared to copy the video (preferably from a USB flash drive) onto the classroom desktop. Test out whether your video will play on YouTube before you turn it in. Make sure that it is not blocked because of copyright (images or music).

Video Description Text

E-mail the video description text before class on Wednesday, December 6.

Here are the minimum requirements for the video description text:

  1. One sentence that describes the topic of the video.
  2. One sentence that describes each poem (one, two, or three sentences depending on the number of poems in the video).
  3. One paragraph that describes the following:
    • How each poem reflects a specific class position (middle-income, low-income, high-income) in a specific location (US or country in Asia; urban or rural area)
    • The class stand (standpoint).  Most likely the class stand will involve a supportive attitude towards low-income working class individuals and/or criticism of elites in a specific location (US or a country in Asia). Explain how the poem is supportive and/or critical.

Poems

E-mail the poems before class on Wednesday, December 6.

Please make it easy for me to copy and paste the poems from an e-mail or attachment to the video description box.

Credits

E-mail the credits before class on Wednesday, December 6.

You will need credits for the following:

  1. Group members
  2. Music (if you used music made by others)
  3. Images (if you used images made by others)

If you used music or images produced outside of your group your credits should contain links to the music file (or the name of the program and file) and each video that contains the images you used.
