Title: Club Day Feedback

Joey: 

• We will be going over the overall feedback for club day. Anyone like to talk about any highlights
• Icc is mainly responsible for Club day and 

Participant 1: 

• We ran out of flyers, good that we reached out a lot of people, and a lot followed our instagram

Ryan: 

• It was great to have everyone. Next time we might limit the number of volunteers. We will try to give more specific pitches. Thank you all for helping us!
• For people who helped us with flyers, give them more heads up on what we do. As per our marketing committee, we didn’t get as many followers.
• If people are asking for your personal insta, please give dasg ones

• It would be better if they were grouped in the same category, and they can split it into two days

Title: Flea Market Update

Joey: 

• What went well with flea market?

Lakshya:

• It was mainly checking in with vendors
• It was couple of interns and one other senator
• Would like more interns to come at 6am-9am, requires more people due to workload
• 9am-12pm is mainly for checking in with vendors
• In terms of what went well, we did everything in time, followed the timeline, and pretty good with that, all that interns that helped us were really good, there was a lot of new prospective interns, there was a lot who weren’t aware of what flea market does

Prospective intern 1:

• Main issue for flea market, bathroom logistic, they were asking for bathroom issues and need to improve that

Jenny:

• Unfortunately because bathrooms in L building are being remodeled, they can’t use it but De Anza is refusing to give out other bathrooms
• They fill out what they have to sell, but some would sell day of without notifying
• From time to time they sell in other markets and those are allowed, but this is school flea market, and they think we rent the space. 

Prospective intern 2:

• Should we check what they are tryna sell, they were selling food, drinks, and even knives.

Title: Homecoming Planning Update

Joey: 

• Homecoming is kind of rushed because of the date, and senators have kind of done most of the work
• * Discussing Information on homecoming
• Next Wednesday 10/15 from 2pm-3pm will be planning meeting
• Feel free to pitch in any ideas for entertainment

Ryan:

• Homecoming server join list will be in the DASG discord server
• Homecoming is a joint event amongst DASG Events, DASG Marketing, and ICC
• ICC is working on the flyers, but there is no guarantee that it will be finalized by this week.

Audrey:

• Wednesday will be discussing more in depth detail for homecoming games
• Might conflict with sponsors if we do it from external factors

Background

• Interns assist senators with various tasks, including:
• providing ideas/improvements to events
• Helping with hands-on work in the events committee
• guiding prospective interns on how to participate in the committee
• Interns should be doing:
• Going to the weekly Event Committee Meetings
• regularly volunteering for Events or the Flea Market
• communicating with the senators about any updates, purchases, or complications.
• You can do both

• Difference is they work on different committee responsibilities
