About Adapted Physcial Education

The APE program offers a broad range of courses to meet the fitness needs of students with disabilities. The curriculum is designed to accommodate personal fitness goals through individual instruction as well as appropriate group instruction. Most classes are held on campus in a large dedicated gym or accessible pool. Classes are also offered in the community for older adults with disabilities.
